Statement of Online Teaching Philosophy

As an online teacher, a teacher is more than someone who instructs. A teacher is a facilitator who helps online learners collaborate thoughts, ideas and experience into a productive course. The link between experience and learning is critical - it is imperative that this connection be allowed to grow during the course.

An online teacher must possess passion and knowledge in the subjects they instruct - work or industry experience makes this much more valuable in addition to an education.
